peer reviews

While looking over my peer reviews for the research argumentative based paper and the literacy inquiry I noticed that they were different. For example for the research argumentative based paper my responses were mainly questions. Questions on sources and on parts of the paper that I felt could use more research. I did not comment on any grammar mistakes because we were told not to. Even though it was difficult to leave it as it was but there was not very many grammar mistakes that my group mates made. I thought that it was easier to do the research based argumentative paper reviews because we just had to make sure that there opinions made sense and there facts were in order. Our comments were more like helpful hints on how I would have done with their opinions or ways to help them put their thoughts together. During the first peer reviews we did which were the literacy inquiry I had a little trouble at first. But once I got the hang of I began to ask good questions and gave help on parts that were confusing to me. I tried to help my group mates put some ideas together to better help them explain themselves better.  For both the research based argumentative paper and the literacy inquiry I made sure to leave complements on the parts that I liked. I tried not to be to negative in my comments so I choose to make sure I had enough complements to match the other comments that I put.  I did not have much experience doing peer reviews I did some in high school but those were not as in depth as ours. I really think that the peer reviews are a vital part in writing a paper because they help the writer in so many ways.
